How could I possibly tell you what a thankful heart has hold of me when writing this letter to you?
People often ask me how I am inspired, and how it is that I am able to create items that match their stories so perfectly. But you see, I really can't take the credit for this. My hands and heart are guided by something much greater than me.
To answer that further, there are two elements to this part of my story. One is that YOU are my inspiration. Your stories, your triumphs, your journeys...they are indescribably beautiful and they move me powerfully. Knowing the right stones to choose to tell your story...well, that is something I can only attribute to a gift from God. There is no real way to explain it other than moving forward in a divinely intuitive way...all the beads seem to come together at the same time that their specific meaning speaks to me and, after a few tries at patterning and storytelling, the creation materializes. And your story is told. It is God's work through my hands and heart.
As for where I am most inspired, there is one place in the universe that moves me like no other. It is the place where I find the rhythm of life itself and the natural magic of this world. It is where my spirit can be free and unfettered, at once open to the mystery of a faith-filled heart, yet finding answers, and soulful knowing. Have you guessed? :) The ocean is where I find sanctuary, rejuvenation, life, solace, and the presence of the divine.
